Investing In Volunteers

We train our Girl Scout volunteers to enable them to understand and be effective in their position, especially the position of troop leader. At least one leader from each troop or group needs to attend Council Basics and Leadership Essentials, preferably within the first three months the troop or group is organized. But that's just the beginning. We offer a wide variety of other workshops to better equip our volunteers with the knowledge and skills to grow strong girls.
