About the Teen Action Board
We are challenging girls in grades 8-12 to develop teen activities and events through the Teen Action Board.
Girls selected for this board expand their leadership skills through a team building and cooperative effort to provide special council-wide events for teen Girl Scouts. A process of evaluating needs, contacts with community, and organizational skill building will be used.
Board members have been selected from every corner of the council. Two (2) applicants were selected from each of the 12 membership areas. Girls applying are in grades 8-12, and have been a Girl Scout for one full year.
Girls selected will remain on the board until the August following their high school graduation, or sooner if they choose to retire.
Vacancies on the board will be filled using an application process. For more information, contact Tricia Andrews, tandrews@gslakesandpines.org.
