Awards and RecognitionBrownie Girl Scouts earn Try-Its. These triangular-shaped recognitions are earned by completing four activities designed to encourage girls to "try new things."
Uniforms and BooksGirls can wear the Brownie Girl Scout Pin, showing they belong to Girl Scouts of the USA, and the World Trefoil Pin, signifying their membership in a worldwide movement. Brownie Girl Scouts can purchase uniforms with either a sash or vest to display Brownie Girl Scout Try-Its and other insignia. Girls can also buy a Brownie Girl Scout Handbook and Try-Its for Brownie Girl Scouts. Leaders use the Guide for Brownie Girl Scout Leaders and Safety-Wise.
